The below Guarantee accounts for what you have invested in us (e.g. your entry fee) and what we have invested in you (e.g. event administration, shirts, medals, traffic management) in advance of the event.
If you have signed up to any RunNZ event, we would like to offer the following Participant Guarantee.
- If for any reason you can no longer participate in the event for personal reasons (i.e. you are injured, you’ve moved). Leading up to your event, you will be eligible to apply for the following refund/credit:

- Between 1 month and 72 hours before Event Day1 50% 12-month credit only2.
- If the event is postponed due to weather or another unforeseeable or unplanned act, we will automatically transfer your Entry to the new event date. In this instance, there will be no credits or refunds available.
- If the event is cancelled, you will be eligible to apply for a 12-month RunNZ credit2 or refund (as below).
- Series Pass Entrants – you will be eligible to apply for a RunNZ credit2 to the value of 15% of your series pass.
- Single Race Entrants – you will be eligible to apply for a RunNZ credit2 to the value of 90% of your entry fee.

- You are able to transfer your entry for free to another person3 up to 2 weeks prior to Event Day1 for no cost. Please note that if the person was entitled to a free event shirt as part of your entry, this cannot be guaranteed and will depend on sizes and availability.
1 Event Day = This is the originally planned date of the event (i.e. not a postponement date). For series entrants, it is the originally planned date of the first race of the series.
